Upon hearing learned counsel for petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor as well as learned counsel for complainant, and perusing the material made available to me during the arguments of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage.

The bail application is accordingly dismissed.

The petitioner would, however, be at liberty to again apply for grant of bail in the court of Sessions itself after statements of key witnesses of prosecution, namely, Manaram, Girdharilal, Harisingh and Kamla Devi, are recorded. The prosecution will get examined the said witnesses on priority basis.
