Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:
The following were present:
Appellant : Absent;
Respondent : Dr. P. K. Das, Public Information Officer & Chief Medical Officer on video conference
from NIC-Nalanda Studio;
The appellant had taken a letter of recommendation for being given a job from the then Defence
Minister Mr. Jorge Fernandes. The appellant had given this recommendation of letter to the department.
Through the RTI application the appellant is seeking information why she had not appointed to a job. The
PIO has informed her that no appointment letter has been given to her and the letter of recommendation of
any MP or Minister does not become an appointment letter.
Decision:
The Appeal is dismissed.
The information has been properly provided by the PIO.
