J U D G M E N T
Petitioner, who has completed her B.Com
(Vocational Model II) Degree from a college affiliated to
the Mahatma Gandhi University, had written the 5th
Semester Examination held in December, 2008.
Apparently, dissatisfied by the marks obtained in one
paper, she had applied for revaluation. She is aggrieved
that the result of the revaluation has not been published so
far.
2. I heard learned standing counsel for the
University also. There is no justification for the delay in the
publication of results of revaluation in respect of the
Examination held in December, 2008.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of
directing the 1st respondent to publish the results of the
revaluation sought for by the petitioner in relation to the
5th Semester Examination held in December, 2008, as
early as possible, at any rate, within a period of eight

weeks from the last date of receipt of a copy of the
application provided the application for revaluation is in
order and otherwise correct.
