Heard Shri Y. K. Saxena, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well
as learned Standing Counsel.
The limited prayer made in the present writ petition is for a writ of mandamus
commanding the respondents i.e. Regional Level Committee to consider the
claim of the petitioner on the basis of the recommendation of the District
Inspector of Schools dated 8.9.2009 for grant of approval of the appointment
of the petitioner on a short term vacancy. Petitioner submits that in spite of the
recommendation no orders have been passed. In such circumstances, it will be
appropriate that a direction be issued to the respondent No. 2 to pass the
appropriate order.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is being
disposed of finally directing the respondent No. 2 to pass the appropriate
order relating to the approval of the petitioner on the basis of a
recommendation sent by respondent No. 3 by a speaking and reasoned order
within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of
this order.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
No order is passed as to costs.
