                                  JUDGMENT

Ext.P7 show cause notice was issued to the petitioner

Church by the first respondent Panchayat threatening that the

authorities of the Electricity Board will be requested to

disconnect the supply already given to the petitioner on the

reason that the numbering of the building was irregular.

2. I do not propose to consider the merits of the grounds

raised. But Ext.P8 reply has been submitted by the petitioner

Church to Ext.P7 through Advocate. Under these circumstances,

this writ petition will stand disposed of with the following

directions:

The first respondent will take up Ext.P7, consider the same

in the light of Ext.P9, hear the petitioner and take a correct and

just decision on the same in the light of the various grounds

raised by the petitioner. Decision as directed above will be

taken by the Panchayat within three weeks of receiving a copy of

this judgment. Till such time as decision is taken by the

Panchayat as directed above, the 2nd respondent will not

disconnect the electricity supply which is already given to the

building presently bearing Door No.P.P.X /5404.
