JUDGMENT

1. Heard Sri M. M. Ghildlyal, learned standing counsel for petitioners and Sri K. N. Joshi, learned counsel for the respondents.
2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners against the order dated 18.5.1999 passed by the IIIrd Additional District Judge. Dehradun in Rent Appeal No. 161 of 1998. This appeal was filed against the order passed by Additional District Magistrate on the application under Sub-section (8) of Section 21 of the U. P. Act No. XIII of 1972 for the enhancement of rent pertaining to the accommodation in tenancy of the petitioner.
3. The District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate, after considering the entire facts and circumstances pleaded before him, enhanced the rent and against which the Appeal No. 161 of 1998 was filed. The appellate authority examined the matter on record and considered the facts and circumstances, under which the rent was enhanced and rejected the appeal.
4. I have perused the order passed by the Additional District Magistrate as well as the Appellate Authority. 1 do not find that the orders passed by the authorities suffer from any error of law or any perversity. Therefore the petition has no merit.
5. The petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
