Title : Statement regarding status of implementation of recommendations in second report of Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice.
THE MINISTER OF LAW & JUSTICE (SHRI H.R. BHARDWAJ): *I am laying this statement on the status of implementation of recommendations contained in the Second Report of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice 2004-05 in pursuance of direction 73 A of the hon. Speaker, Lok Sabha.
In all, 23 recommendations were made by the Committee, where action is required on the part of the Government. The present status of implementation of the recommendations made by the Committee is indicated in the Annexure to my Statement, which is laid on the Table of the House. I would not like to take the valuable time of the House to read out all the contents of the said Annexure. I would request that this may be considered as read.
