JUDGMENT

N.C. Jain, J.

1. Reply filed.

2. In this application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act for the grant of maintenance pendente lite and litigation expenses, it has been averred in paragraph 4 that there had been an increase in the salary of the respondent. Although, it is denied that the respondent is getting Rs. 3000/- per month as salary yet increase from Rs. 1257/-to Rs. 1758/- per month has been admitted even by the respondent.

3. After reading the averments made in the application and the reply, this Court is of the opinion that an increase of Rs. 100/- per month is called for. In view thereof, the maintenance pendente-lite is fixed at the rate of Rs. 500/- per month from the date of the filing of the application and Rs. 1000/- is fixed by way of litigation expenses.
