: Heard the parties.

According to the petitioners Government of India started a new Scheme
named as “Swarnjayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojana” for distribution of food
grains to the villagers living under poverty line through Mahila Swayam
Sahayata Samuh. Accordingly, the petitioners formed Mahila Swayam
Sahayata Samuh in different villages in order to distribute the food grains to
the poor villagers and to that effect an agreement was executed in between
those Mahila Swayam Sahayata Samuh and the State Government and thereby
the State Government agreed to allot required food grains to Mahila Swayam
Sahayata Samuh for distribution of the same to the poor villagers on fixed
price.

The grievance of the petitioners is that inspite of the aforesaid facts no
food grains has yet been allotted to those Mahila Swayam Sahayata Samuh for
distribution of the same amongst the villagers living below poverty line.

In my view the grievance of the petitioners can very well be looked into
and taken care of by the Deputy Commissioner, Palamau at Daltonganj and,
accordingly, this writ petition is being disposed of by giving liberty to the
petitioners to make a representation in writing stating in details about their
grievance and claim along with the supporting documents, if any, to the
Deputy Commissioner, Palamau at Daltonganj within a period of two weeks
from today. On receipt of such representation the Deputy Commissioner,
Palamau at Daltonganj shall consider the claim and grievance of the petitioners
and take a decision in the matter within a period of six weeks pursuant to the
resolution of the State Government as well as the Scheme of the Central
Government in this regard.

This writ application stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations
and directions.
