In this revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution
of India, the petitioner-landlord seeks directions to the Executing Court to
pass appropriate orders in the execution application No.56 of 2009,
especially for the reasons that the respondent-tenant has not paid the
arrears of rent despite the orders passed by this Court as well as by the
Rent Controller, Ludhiana, dated 13.8.2009.
Having heard counsel for the petitioner and after going
through the orders dated 25.9.2007 and 19.10.2007 passed by this Court,
prima-facie, there appears to be some substance in the contention raised on
behalf of the petitioner that the respondent-tenant is delaying the execution

proceedings on one pretext or the other and without paying any rent.
However, without expressing any view on the merits of the
case, the revision petition is disposed of with a direction to the Rent
Controller-cum-Executing Court, Ludhiana, to decide the execution
application No.56 of 2009 as early as possible but not later than 28.2.2010.
