J U D G M E N T
Petitioner admits that he has a liability of about
Rs.32,000/- towards the Motor Vehicles Tax and apprehends that
revenue recovery proceedings are likely to be initiated for
recovering the same. It is in view of this that the writ petition has
been filed.
2. Though various contentions have been raised, the only
prayer that is made before me is for granting an instalment
facility for discharging the liability.
3. Having heard the counsel for the petitioner and the
learned Government pleader, I direct that the petitioner shall pay
the amount in three equal monthly instalments commencing from
1st of December, 2007 and the subsequent instalment will be
payable on 1st of January, 2008 and February, 2008.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
