JUDGMENT
Petitioner is working as Electrician Grade-III,
currently stationed at Idamalayar. He is scheduled to retire
on 30.11.2009. He is a native of Kothamangalam. Due to
his illness he has sought for a posting in Kothamangalam
Section. Petitioner points out that there are vacancies in
the Camp Section, Account Closing Unit, KSEB, at
Kothamangalam. Exts.P4 and P4(a) are pending before the
first respondent.
2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and
learned Standing Counsel for the Board and taking note of
the fact that the petitioner is due to retire on 30.11.2009,
writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to
consider the petitioner’s request as contained in Exts.P4
and P4(a), and do the needful within four weeks from the
date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Petitioner shall
produce a copy of the writ petition along with the copy of
the judgment before the first respondent.
