                                JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the

learned standing counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner’s application for affiliation in respect of the

revised course of Electronics and Communications Engineering and fresh

affiliation for M.Tech, VLSI and Embedded systems have been considered

by the Syndicate of the University which met on 1-8-2009 and the

University has declined approval. The Syndicate is again scheduled to met

on 22-8-2009 for confirmation of the minutes of the meeting held on 1-8-

2009. Copy of the decision of the Syndicate shall be supplied to the

petitioner on or before 26-8-2009.

3. Subject to the above, the writ petition is disposed of. It is made

clear that all the contentions of the petitioners as regards their request for

affiliation of the aforementioned courses are left open.
