Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the marks awarded to him in the selection of
Police Constables. Admittedly, petitioner being a Scheduled Caste Category
candidate has got lesser marks than the minimum cut of marks fixed for the
selection of the Scheduled Caste Category candidates, therefore, no relief can
be granted to him.

The writ petition is devoid of merits and is hereby dismissed giving a liberty
to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned.

No order as to costs.
