                                  JUDGMENT

Petitioner, who was promoted as Head Clerk, was posted at

the Rajakumari Grama Panchayath by Ext.P1 order. It is

admitted position that Ext.P1 order is not under challenge.

According to the petitioner, subsequent vacancies of Head Clerks

arose in certain Grama Panchayaths in Kottayam District.

Petitioner contends that he had filed Ext.P5 before the Director of

Panchayaths seeking appropriate posting in the Panchayath in

Kottayam District for personal reasons.

2. It is open to the Director of Panchayaths to consider and

take appropriate action on the request made by the petitioner

vide Ext.P5. I do not express any opinion on the merits of the

request made by the petitioner in this regard. The Director of

Panchayaths may take appropriate decision in accordance with

law keeping in mind the norms in question relating to the transfer

WP(C) 25300/07 -: 2 :-

and posting of Government employees, within a period of three

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
