Petitioner’s grievance is that he had moved complaint as
per 1997 Rules supported by affidavit and further on the said
complaint being moved District Panchayat Raj Officer Meerut
was asked to conduct inquiry assisted by Engineers.
Petitioner submits that report in question has been submitted
on 23.11.2009 but till date no District Magistrate, Meerut has
not taken any decision on the same.
Consequently, in the facts of the case District Magistrate,
Meerut is directed to see and ensure that final decision is
taken on the same strictly in accordance with the parameter
provided under 1997 Rules after providing opportunity of
hearing to Urmila, respondent no. 5 preferably within next
six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of
this order.
With the above direction present writ petition is disposed
of.
