An application supported by the affidavit of the Executive Engineer has been
filed praying for deferring the hearing of this Contempt Application till
decision of the Special Leave Petition filed by the Department before the
Apex Court. Admittedly there is no interim order in the Special Leave
Petition. The judgment of this Court is dated 26.3.2009. However considering
the averments contained in paragraph no.6 of the affidavit filed in support of
the application filed today, as last opportunity one month’s time is allowed to
the learned Standing Counsel to obtain any interim protection in the
meantime.
