Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The only relief claimed in the writ petition is to command the Civil

Judge (Junior Division), Shahganj, District Jaunpur to decide Suit

No. 1391 of 1993, Mitthoo Vs. Suddhoo.

Considering the facts and circumstances and the fact that the suit

has remained pending for almost 17 years, writ petition stands

disposed of with the direction to the trial court to expedite the

hearing of the suit and to decide the same as expeditiously as

possible.
