3 Economic Laws Practice (ELP) Partners join hands with former L&S lawyers to form Sarvada Legal

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) Partners MP Devnath and Vivek Sharma, and Associate Partner Abhishek Anand have joined forces with Seetharaman & Associates. The merged entity has been rebranded as Sarvada Legal.

The Partners from Seetharaman & Associates include:

S Seetharaman – International Trade, Customs and Regulatory
Atul Sharma – International Trade, Customs and Regulatory
Sundar Ramanathan – Competition, Regulatory and Commercial Litigation
Abir Roy – Competition Law and Insolvency
With the merger, Sarvada Legal will have seven founding partners, all of whom are former Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan lawyers.

The term ‘Sarvada’ means “always as also all-bestowing”. It is also an acronym of the initials of the 7 co-founders.

MP Devnath, Vivek Sharma, and Abhishek Anand had joined ELP in 2017 from L&S. Devnath focuses on Litigation and Dispute Resolution, while Sharma focuses on Tax Advisory and Litigation. Anand specializes in Investment Law and Arbitration.

Sarvada Legal now has expertise in Competition Law, Corporate & Commercial laws, Dispute Resolution, International Trade & Customs, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Policy & Regulatory, Tax Advisory & Litigation including GST, Trademark & Copyright, and White Collar Crime.

The firm also has niche practice areas such as Data Protection and SCOMET controls in Technology, Defense and Aerospace Sectors.
