External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna on Thursday said India will take up with Britain cases of students not getting their fees refunded on courses they could not pursue due to Britain‘s decision to temporarily suspend student visas from three Indian cities.
This was conveyed by Krishna during a reply to supplementaries during question hour in Rajya Sabha.
Krishna informed the Parliament that Britain had temporarily stopped accepting student visa applications at three centres in New Delhi, Jalandhar and Chandigarh.
The three centres saw a dramatic six-fold surge in applications to 13,500 during October-December 2009 against only 1,800 applications during the same period in 2008.
“As a result of abnormal rise in applications, they (UK) thought it is necessary for them to take a second look at the process of issuing visas for various courses,” he said.
The British government had partially lifted the ban on accepting visa applications from north India for higher studies last month

If the limit is 10 lakhs given by the director to regional sales manager and can he file a suit for more than 12 lakhs it is valid or not
