UPCC president Rita Bahuguna , who was arrested for making objectionable comments against Chief Minister Mayawati, was granted interim bail till July 29 by the Additional District Judge of Moradabad. She was asked to submit two sureties for Rs. 30,000 each.
The ADJ on Friday reserved order on the bail plea of Ms. Rita Bahuguna, who had been arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. She was lodged in the Moradabad district jail.
A first information report was lodged in the Majhola police station under the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989; Sections-153 A and 509 of the Indian Penal Code and Section-7 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
