A man and his two sons were sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court of gonda here in a murder case.
Additional Sessions Judge Satyendra Kumar held all the three accused guilty yesterday and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each on them.
The court directed that half of the penalty amount should be given to the victim’s wife or other close relatives in her absence.
The victim Swamideen was shot dead by Khelawan, his two sons Suresh and Om Prakash over a petty dispute in Sirpurwa village.
A case was registered in this regard on the directives of the court.
