A man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court for looting and murdering two persons in 2011.District and Sessions Judge Vijai Laxmi also imposed a fine of Rs 24,000 on the accused Sanoj Kumar after holding him guilty yesterday.
According to district government counsel Dushyant Tyagi, Mangeram and Ompal were strangulated by their servants Sanoj Kumar and a juvenile at Shukartal village in the district on May 28, 2011.
The case pertaining to the boy will be heard by a juvenile court.
