Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law shortly called as G.R. Kare College of law is approved by Bar Council of India to impart professional education in Law and the University Grants Commission has also approved the college under section 12 (b) and 2 (f). The college is coming under the jurisdiction of Goa University and it is located in the city called in Margao in the state of Goa.

G.R. Kare College of Law is offering under graduation, diploma and post graduation courses in the stream of law education and the list of courses offered by the college is given below:

Facilities:
G.R. Kare College of Law is provided with several facilities like computer lab, air-conditioned auditorium, library and gymkhana. The computer lab of the college has 20 PIV computers with broadband facility. Auditorium has a seating capacity of 200 members and this is used for conducing all the functions of the college.
Library and Reading Room:
The College has a well equipped Library with a collection of more than 12,000 books, journals, Magazines etc. The Library has an independent reading room with subscription of more than 12 law journals, 10 news papers, 9 national magazines and 5 legal magazines. Library is open on all working days (except National Holidays). Students are requested to observe the rules of the library strictly.
Registration and Membership of Library:
The following persons are entitled to make use of the Library Facilities:
1) Members with Library Deposit Only:
Students of the college.
Ex-Students for one year immediately preceding the final year of his/her registration.
2) Members with Library Deposit and Fees:
The membership will be given by the Librarian to the students and all other readers on their application made in the prescribed form along with four ID Card size latest photographs and Deposit Receipt.
Membership shall be for one academic year only and shall be renewable every year.
All the members of library will be provided with necessary Library Tickets as per the category of reader.
