Roy Name of the Public Authority : Southern Railway, Tiruvananthapuram Background 1. The RTI application was filed by the Applicant on 4.2.10 with the PIO, Railway Divisional Office, Tiruvananthapuram seeking information against 3 points including information about whether a a railway project being done at railway medical college at Tiruvanandapuram. The PIO (Operations) replied on 15.2.10 stating that regarding item No.11 both Kochuveli and Nemam Railway stations are regular Operating stations where station masters are posted and continuing as such and that no changes are envisaged. The Railway Supdt. cum PIO on 1.3.10 after acquiring information from the Chief Medical Director on 23.2.10 stated that with regard to point no.1 the land required for medical college was not identified at all. Being aggrieved with this reply the applicant lodged a complaint on 11.3.10 with the CIC seeking for the information once again. 2.
