The argument of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the petitioners
have been transferred without approval of the Police Establishment Board and
as such the order of transfer is within the teeth of the decision of the Supreme
Court reported in (2006)8 SCC1: Prakash Singh and Others Vs. Union of
India and others.

Learned Standing counsel prays for and is allowed 3 weeks time to file
counter affidavit. One week thereafter is allowed to the petitioners for filing
rejoinder affidavit.

List thereafter.

Till the next date of listing the petitioners shall not be relieved pursuant to
impugned orders of transfer dated 19.3.2010.
