Reply by way of affidavit has been filed by Gurnam Singh,

PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-I, Amritsar. It has been

stated that on basis of statement made by the petitioner and taking into

consideration his medicolegal report, a case FIR No. 255 dated

22.11.2008 was registered at Police Station “B” Division, Amritsar, under

Sections 323, 325, 34 IPC. It is further stated that respondents No.4 to

6 were arrested and were released on bail. Thereafter, respondent Nos.

4 to 6 moved an application before the Senior Superintendent of Police,

Amritsar. Thereafter, the investigation is being conducted by Gurnam

Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-I, Amritsar.

Counsel for the State, on instructions from Balkar Singh,

Assistant Sub Inspector, Police Station “B” Division, Amritsar, submits

that the investigation in the FIR shall be concluded within one month.

In view of this no further action is called for. Present petition

is disposed off.
