J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is working as Upper Primary School Assistant
in the Ebenezer High School in Muvattupuzha. The petitioner was
appointed as such from 09.06.2008 to 31.03.2013 as per
Exhibit P1. The approval of the said appointment was rejected as
per Exhibit P2 stating that the petitioner is a fresh hand and the
appointment commences after the commencement of the school
year.
2. Even though the Manager filed an appeal as per
Exhibit P3, the same was rejected as per Exhibit P4. Presently,
the matter is pending before the Government as per Exhibit P5
revision petition. The petitioner prays that the Government may
be directed to take a decision on Exhibit P5 in the light of the
decision of a Division Bench of this Court in Unni Narayanan vs.
State of Kerala (2009 (2) KLT 604).

There will be a direction to the 1st respondent to take a
decision on Exhibit P5, after hearing the petitioner and the
Manager, within a period of four months from the date of receipt
of a copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
