The petitioner is working as Assistant Type Store

Keeper in Government Press, Kakkanad. The grievance of the

petitioner pertains to non-sanctioning of her due increment as also

the inaction on the part of the respondents for the proper storing of

the materials belonging to Type Store in the general store. The

petitioner apprehends that since the materials belonging to the

Type Store are presently stored in a place, without sufficient

security, it may result loss of materials. In such eventuality, being

the Assistant Type Store Keeper, the petitioner would also be held

responsible and liable. Raising all such grievances in respect of

the aforesaid matters, the petitioner has submitted Exts.P2 and P2

(b) representations before the 1st respondent. The said

representations were submitted on 20-11-2008 and 24-12-2009

respectively.

2. The 2nd respondent is competent to look into the

grievance raised by the petitioner in the aforesaid representations.

WPC.11547/2010
: 2 :

Therefore, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider

and pass orders on Exts.P2 and P2(b), after affording an

opportunity of being heard to the petitioner, expeditiously, at any

rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a

copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
