Facts giving rise to the present writ petition are more or less identical to those
of Writ Petition No. 36992 of 2010 (Sanjay Kumar vs. State of U.P. and
others), which has been disposed of by this Court on 28.06.2010.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is also being disposed by providing that
the petitioner may file a fresh representation ventilating all his grievances
with reference to the cut off marks declared on 19.05.2010 as well as on other
grounds for questioning his non-selection within two weeks from today along
with a certified copy of this order before the U.P. Police Recruitment and
Promotion Board, Lucknow. The Head of Department of the Board shall take
appropriate decision on the representation so made, by means of a reasoned
speaking order, after examining the records pertaining to the petitioner,
preferably within four weeks from the date the representation is so filed.
