Facts
arising from the Complaint:
The Complainant had filed a RTI application with the PIO on 08/02/2011 to ask about
action taken on his complaint dated 13/12/2010 about unauthorized construction. Since he did not
get any information from the PIO, he filed a first appeal on 12/03/2011. Since there was no
response from the First Appellate Authority, and he had received no information, he filed a
Complaint under Section 18 of the RTI Act before the Commission on 19/05/2011. On this basis,
the Commission issued a notice to the PIO on 01/06/2011 directing him to provide the information
before 06/07/2011.
The Commission is in receipt of the submissions of the Respondent dated 21/06/2011, stating
that the information had been personally delivered to the Complainant on 03/03/2011. The PIO
has sent a copy of the information with the Complainant’s signature on it. He also sent a copy of
the information by speed post as per the Commission’s notice. A copy of the information is being
sent along with this decision to the Complainant.
Decision:
The Complaint is disposed.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
