                                          ORDER

Ms. Anu Sareen, the appellant has filed this appeal dated 13.6.2011 before the
Commission against the Ministry of Finance, Controller General of Accounts, for not
information to her RTI-request dated 27.7.2010. The matter came for hearing on
16.11.2011. The appellant was present in person, whereas the respondents were
represented by Ms. N. Sumathi, Joint CGA and Shri Amitabh Tripathi, Deputy CGA.

2. The appellant filed an RTI-request dated 14.1.2011 seeking copy of old and latest
retention schedule of answer scripts relating to AAO Examination. The CPIO vide letter
No. CDN/CGA/167/RTI/2011/779 dated 25.1.2011 informed the appellant that there is only
one retentions schedule for the records relating to the examinations conducted by this
office by providing copy of retention schedule.

3. Aggrieved by the reply of CPIO the appellant preferred first-appeal on 23.2.2011
before FAA. seeking additional information. The FAA vide order No. CDN/167/RTI/MF-
CGA/2011/832 dated 18.3.2011 has clarified to all the additional queries to the appellant.

4. Having heard the parties and perused the relevant documents in file, the
Commission observes that the appellant has raised certain additional queries before the
2 Case No. CIC/SS/A/2011/001210

FAA, which were not permissible at the first-appellate stage under the RTI Act. However,
the FAA has clarified on her additional queries to the appellant. The Commission is of the
considered view that requisite information as per records and permissible under the RTI
Act
has been provided to the appellant by the respondent. Hence no interference is called
for on the part of the Commission.

The matter is accordingly disposed of at Commission’s end.
