Background
1. The Applicant filed her RTI application on 30.01.09 with the CPIO / Supdt. of
Post Office, Delhi stating that pursuant to CIC order dated 27.1.09, the
information provided by the Respondent Public Authority, based on her
inputs, was not exhaustive therebu suggesting that she may provide more
inputs later requiring further information from the Responmdent Public
Authority. The CPIO replied 12.02.09 providing complete point wise
information against the inputs provided by the Appellant. Being aggrieved with the
CPIO’s reply, the Applicant filed a Complaint before the CIC on 10.07.09 stating that
some information against missing KVPs still not been provided.
2.. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner scheduled the
hearing for 18th November, 2009.
3. Mr. S.B. Malik, ASP & CPIO and Mr.Jagdish Chugh, Inspector represented the Public
Authority.
4. The Applicant was present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The Respondent submitted that complete information has been provided based on the
details of 3 KVPs provided by the Appellant. The Appellant however maintained that
the information provided is not exhaustive and that the Respondent was already
intimated that details of more KVPs would be provided soon so that required
information can be provided against them. While noting that complete information
has been provided as sought by the Appellant against her first set of inputs, in the
interest of the Applicant, the Commission directs the CPIO to provide for the last time,
the missing information against the additional list of KVPs provided by the Appellant,
by 10 December, 2009.
6. The appeal is accordingly disposed off.
