Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner contends that the respondent No.6 is much lower in merit
than the petitioner but he has been selected and appointed which is
against the relevant guidelines framed in this regard. Learned counsel
contends that the petitioner is at serial No.4 whereas the said
respondent is at serial No.7.
Let the claim of the petitioner be examined by the respondent No.2, who
shall proceed to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass an
appropriate order after putting the respondent No.6 to notice and calling
for comments from the appropriate authority within a period of 6 weeks
from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
