                            W.P(C).No.2224 OF 2007

                                     JUDGMENT

The claim of the petition is for release of amounts due to

him for the contract works done. The counter affidavit of the 4th

respondent shows that in view of the letter of credit already

available, there were certain recommendations and that, as of

now, further letters of credit for the work of construction of

G.V.Raja Sports School will be considered by the Government on

production of copies of technical sanction and accounts of part

payments. The Government letter is stated to be gaining the

attention of the competent officer. Hence this writ petition is

disposed of directing that the details called for by the 4th

respondent shall be made available by the second respondent at

the earliest and the reply to the Government letter dated

17.1.2007 shall also be issued without delay. The amounts due

to the petitioner will then be quantified and released, at the

earliest.
