BACKGROUND
:
Vide RTI application dated 6.1.2009 the complainant sought certain information
from the CPIO. The complainant has now filed a complaint before the Commission
alleging that he has not received any information whatsoever on his original RTI
application dated 6.1.2009 or his first appeal dated 25.2.2009.
2. The matter was heard on 23.11.2009.
3. The appellant Shri Om Prakash and Shri Ajay Kumar Gaur, Advocate were present.
4. Shri B.K. Singh, Addl. DCP and Shri Madan Lal, SI represented the respondent.
5. During the hearing the complainant again submitted that no reply has been given
to him on his RTI request while the respondents submitted that a pointwise reply was sent
to the complainant by PIO/Outer District through letter dated 29.1.2009 through post
(U.P.C.). It was also submitted that appeal filed on 25.2.2009 was disposed of by the
FAA vide his order dated 18.7.2009.
DECISION:
6. The respondents are directed to furnish copies of the replies of the CPIO and the
FAA to the complainant within 15 days of receipt of this order.
7. The case is disposed of with the above directions.
8. The decision announced on conclusion of the hearing. Notice of the decision be
given free of cost to the parties.
