                         J U D G M E N T

K.M.Joseph, J.

Petitioner seeks police protection. Petitioner

alleges that he is intending to conduct a boat race which will

take place on 23.8.2010. He apprehends that there will be

attempts by certain persons to obstruct the race. He points

out the past experience in this regard.

2. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions,

submits that, respondents 2 and 3 will make arrangement for

police patrol during the race as was done in the previous

year. He submits that in this year also the same arrangement

will continue so that the race can go on smoothly. We record

the said submission and close the writ petition.
