                          J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is a Part-Time Casual Sweeper under the 5th

respondent since 1993. This writ petition is filed seeking a

direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders in terms

of the judgments issued by this court in WP(C) No.30927/03 and

connected cases and W.A.No.1863/05 and connected cases and

the relevant Government Orders. In essence, what is now sought

for by the petitioner is to regularise her service under the 5th

respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she

has already preferred Ext.P4 application, which is stated to be

pending before the 2nd respondent.

2. I notice that in cases of similarly situated persons, this

Court had already disposed of Writ petitions directing that such

representations be forwarded to the first respondent for

consideration under the scheme for regularisation. In terms of

the judgments in similar cases that are already disposed of, I

dispose of this writ petition also directing the 2nd respondent to

forward Ext.P4 application submitted by the petitioner along with

remarks on the same, to the first respondent within one month

from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The first

respondent shall pass appropriate orders on the claim of the

petitioner taking into account the judgments that have already

rendered by this Court and the benefits that are extended to

similarly situated persons. Final orders on Ext.P4 shall be passed

within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy

of this judgment. Petitioner to produce a copy of this judgment

before the 1st and 2nd respondents for compliance.

Writ petition is disposed of as above.
